Guardian Secure Valet’s operating concept uses a storage vehicle or mobile unit, item identification, controlled access and documented retrieval. The objective is to plan the entire handoff: what is accepted, how it is identified, where it is stored and how it returns to the guest.

Discuss how temporary luggage or personal-property storage would fit into guest arrivals, departures or an event at the property. Space, staffing, operating hours and guest directions should be considered together.
Conferences and business events
Attendees may move between travel, meetings and event venues. A defined storage point can be planned around the event schedule, anticipated volume and the times when arrivals or collection are concentrated.
Venues and special events
Review the types of belongings involved and the venue’s own entry policies. Storage service and security screening are different responsibilities; the proposed assignment should explain which tasks are included and who is responsible for each.

- Check-in: direct the guest to the designated storage point and confirm that the item can be accepted under the event’s agreed policy.
- Identification: associate the item with a retrieval record so it can be located and returned through a documented process.
- Controlled storage: place the item in the agreed vehicle or mobile unit with access limited to authorized personnel.
- Retrieval: match the guest’s retrieval information to the stored item and document its return.
Plan the event before reserving the service
A mobile storage arrangement must work for the location as well as the guest. Guardian will need to review expected demand, access, staffing and the operating details before confirming a pilot engagement.
